About The Peach Barn
In 1916, Blackledge Brothers Orchards began growing peaches in the Porter area. In the 1970’s, they were known as Blackledge-Fischer Orchards, who were at the time the largest peach producers in Oklahoma, and during that period they constructed the original farm market stand here, at the corner of Highways 69 & 51B. In 1997, Kent (grower of peaches for over 50 years) & Dawna Livesay purchased the farm market, renamed it The Peach Barn – Orchard & Bakery and eventually expanded by adding ice cream, a bakery, lunch items, gifts and more.
